Prototype/ Short Runs
PT Industries specializes in prototypes, one-off, and short quantity runs. Our projects include everything from simple plates, brackets, mounts, to complex multi-operational parts. We do not have a strict dollar minimum, but small, simple jobs may carry a setup charge to cover programming, fixturing, and tooling costs. Work can be quoted from drawings or CAD models. Pricing based on material, machine time, welding/fab hours, and any finishing or certifications required. PT industries can also expedite work when requested, but may come with additional charges based on current capacity.
Production
Our shop can also meet your demanding production runs. The most common scopes are shop-fabricated steel components, custom adapter plates for structural steel and equipment installs. We have multiple CNC machines to run simultaneous operations to help keep costs as low as possible. We can support rush turnaround when flagged at bid time, but expedited work may be subject to premium hourly rates. Budget pricing can be provided from preliminary drawings, with firm quotes issued once final prints, quantities, and material specs are received. Quotes typically include material, machining, welding, standard coatings, and packaging/delivery.
Custom/Turn Key builds
Our dedicated team can even assist with full custom builds requiring machining, welding, heat treating, light fabrication and assembly. Purchasing teams can expect upfront and transparent pricing for machining, and finishing so you can compare against other shops. Lead times vary anywhere from 1-2 weeks for simple repeat parts to 4-8 weeks for large, multi-operation weldments/projects. Critical path dates should be noted in RFQs so we can propose realistic schedules or alternates. We are happy to review drawings early to help you avoid costly redesigns or change orders.
